Burgonet with bevors, 2 mm steel
The burgonet arose in the 16th Century from the sallet. First it was very popular with the infantry but later the cavalry wore those helmets as well. It developed to the most worn helmet during the 16th and 17th Century.
This reconstruction has got the very typical helmet comb. The cheek guards are flexible and demountable. Helmet will be delivered with two bevors, one for folding and one barred. Of course the helmet can also be worn without any bevor. The helmet has got a comfortable leather liner with chin straps.
