This wine cup made from clay with a holding capacity of 0.2 l was thrown at the potter’s wheel in the same way as it was done in former times. With the aid of archeological institutes, historic preservation agencies and museums, it was possible to reconstruct this ancient beaker. It is made from ochre clay which was fired at 1200°C and is thus extremely sturdy.
