Hourglass Gauntlets, red/gold
These plate gloves known as hourglass gauntlets were developed since the end of the 14th century.
The back of the hand and wrist are protected by leather covered steel, decorated with brass. The latter also in the individual phalanxes of the glove, on which the metal parts are sewn.
