A massive and heavy belt buckle of brass, a complete replica of the golden belt buckle found in the ship burial of Sutton Hoo. The rich embellishments represent a total of thirteen creatures, from winding snakes over intertwined, four-legged beasts to stylized bird heads. In addition to the Helmet of Sutton Hoo this buckle is another important testimony to anglo-saxon craftmanship.
