Pohl Force Knife Tactical Nine SW
Based on the well-known MK-9, designer Dietmar Pohl developed the new Tactical Nine. Reduced in weight and more compact in dimensions, the Tactical Nine is nevertheless a full-grown and versatile utility knife for the professional user.
The sturdy 20-centimeter-long and 6-millimeter-thick Spearpoint blade is suitable for a wide range of applications. For a high cutting durability and resilience of the blade, the choice fell on the well-known D2 tool steel. The stonewashed finish creates a surface that is resistant to scratches and also increases the blade’s resistance to corrosion. The solid and through hardened full tang carries the handle scales made of durable black G-10. Pohl Force’s familiar stepped handle design and the characteristic three-dimensional milled surface of the handle scales provide an excellent and secure hand grip. For powerful or fine work, the pronounced and also rounded finger recess in front of the parry element allows the knife to be gripped forward. A concealed hole at the end of the handle offers the optional possibility to mount a lanyard (included).
The Kydex® sheath of the Tactical Nine is equipped with the proven and removable belt adapter. Extremely robust nylon and Kydex® provide the basis for a well thought-out and resilient carrying system that fully meets the high demands placed on a tactical mission knife in practice. A continuously size-adjustable leg strap with plug-in fastener enables fixation to the thigh (removable when not in use) of the wearer. The elastic area integrated into the belt ensures a high level of wearing comfort. The Kydex® sheath of the Tactical Nine is also equipped with a special insert to reduce the mechanical impact on the blade finish and thus the formation of scratches.
