Cow-mouth shoes
Efter modell från 1500 talet, användes av både kvinnor och män.
The Cow-mouth shoe came up in the early 16th century and was worn by both men and women. During the time this type of shoes became a typical part of the clothing of the Landsknechts. The shoes shape is characterized by a flat body and a wide tip, and is decorated with elliptical recesses similar to the slotted clothing the Landsknechts are known for. A strap with a buckle across the instep serves as a closure. The sole has been fixed by stable nails.
