Battlecry Soldier’s Buckler, Medieval Shield
This Soldier’s Buckler of the Battlecry collection is an replica of the useful small shield used in hand-to-hand combat during the Medieval
and Renaissance periods. Its size made it relatively ineffective against ranged weapons like arrows and spears but useful in deflecting the blow of an
opponent’s weapon or hindering his movements.
Designed specifically to be used and made from 1065 high carbon steel with a darkened, battle-hardened finish and tempering to a low 50 HRC.
This fist shield has gone through rigorous testing. The hands-on nature of the manufacturing by master smiths makes this line unique.
Includes certificate of authenticity signed by each smith that touched your shield through every step of the forging process.
